The Premiere is Near

Well, when I got this blog I hoped to update it more, but I guess not. I guess that's because there haven't been too many updates on anything as of late, except for the usual 24 and Stargate episodes. Seasons 2 and 9 of SG-1 and Atlantis end this week. I've already seen "Allies," which was excellent, so I'm mostly looking forward to "Camelot."

There were a couple of developments on the Horizon front, as usual. Episode 17 has been dubbed "Journalist's Day," Episode 19 is currently "Aversion," and Episode 20 is called "Uprising" as it now stands. Of course, such things are always subject to change. We've got a possible title for 2.22, but we're not sure how it will work out until we work out the story. Titles and plots were also suggested for 2.23 and 2.24, so we have at least a suggested title for every episode in the season.

Right now, we have quite a few episodes that are now/are near ready for release. "Path of Revelation, Part 1" and "Path of Revelation, Part 2" are prepped and ready to go. Won't be long now before they finally premiere. "Night Terrors" and "The Adversary" are also mostly set, which is good since they'll premiere right after the mid season three parter. Following that is "Convergence," which'll be nearly ready once the blue draft comes out (expecting that very soon). "Journalist's Day" is currently being written by Alex; it took us a while to get to that one but it will most certainly be ready in time. Alex is a speed demon. "Amazing Grace," my third episode, as I said before, and the white draft has been turned in. We will revise it shortly in the near future. I just read the outline of "Aversion" yesterday, in which we'll get to see a darker side of Tom. Not much action, but great character moments. This will be Vincent's first episode. "Uprising" is still in production, and I'm still waiting the go on the script for "Catch 22." I already wrote the teaser, since that probably won't be changed, and I should be able to get started by next Tuesday. After that, just three more episodes. My, how time flies.

Some of 24's best stuff I have ever seen was on this week. As much as I want to mention the particulars, I'd hate to spoiler the twist at the end of 5.12. Holy hell, though, it was awesome. I've went and spoiled myself for next week, too, which will be equally as shocking if my sources are correct. This season is shaping up to be the greatest yet.

Like I said, not much to update with, so I shall move on now.
